The concept
Muladhara, the root chakra, is associated with the element of earth, survival, and the most fundamental sense of existing. But the philosophers who have thought most carefully about foundations — Heidegger on thrownness, Nagarjuna on dependent origination, Wittgenstein on bedrock beliefs — all arrive at the same conclusion: the ground is not a ground we chose or can step outside of. We are always already in it. This design treats that condition not as a problem but as the structure of all experience.
