The concept
Henri Bergson distinguished between two kinds of time: the spatial, measurable time of physics (where moments are arranged like beads on a string) and duration — the continuous flow of consciousness in which past, present, and potential interpenetrate. The Ajna and Sahasrara chakras in the subtle body map the same territory: the upper energy centres are associated with states in which ordinary temporal sequencing dissolves. This design makes that convergence visible.
